573 Marine and Bovine-Derived Collagen Peptides Inhibit Catagen Development and Generate Diverse Effects on Stem Cells and Progeny in Human Scalp Hair Follicles Ex Vivo

چکیده
Hair loss and thinning result from premature catagen telogen development, terminal to vellus conversion, the latter caused also by reduced bulge hair follicle stem cell (HFSC) number or ability produce progeny. Although it is known that nutraceutical supplementation with collagen peptides can improve skin physiology, of type XVII leads depletion HFSCs in mice, effect on HF biology remains elusive. Thus, we investigated bovine (Peptan®B) fish (Peptan®Marine)-derived biology. Human microdissected male female HFs were treated ex vivo vitro-digested (to mimic gastric digestion) processed tissue for quantitative (immuno-) histomorphometry. Peptan®Marine slightly increased matrix keratinocyte proliferation significantly prolonged anagen vivo. It did not alter numbers K15+ K19+ suprabulbar outer root sheath (subORS), but cells up-regulated CD34+ cells. In contrast, Peptan®B affect cycle cells, bulge, subORS. inhibited apoptosis subORS, Therefore, our results suggest maintain prolong balance HFSC (K15+) their progeny (CD34+ K19+). data invite aging disorders, such as androgenetic alopecia.
